Step on the waves and be prepared for everything
The gentle breeze by the river stretches for ten miles, with lush forests and rolling waves.
In order to enhance the water rescue capability of the fire rescue team and prepare for flood control and emergency rescue, the Shenzhen Fire Water Rescue Team conducted a practical technical training course on water rescue in Xiangmi Lake, Futian District, based on the actual situation of the flood season in Guangdong, to fully prepare for emergency response during the flood season.

Theoretical learning enriches the foundation of water rescue
The trainer combined professional knowledge of water rescue techniques, progressive training plans, and multiple practical experiences to explain in depth the basic equipment, water flow classification, water rescue process, water rescue grouping, and boat cognition of rapids rescue from three aspects: basic requirements of water rescue, characteristics and disposal processes of water rescue water flow, and basic techniques of water rescue.

Practical guidance enhances comprehensive emergency response capabilities
In response to the characteristics of floods and waterlogging disasters in Guangdong Province in recent years, the requirements of the overall team are deeply implemented in the training, focusing on the practical needs and difficulties of water rescue. Different scenarios of real water disasters are simulated in the training site, and disaster accident subjects such as drowning and stranded islands are simulated for different rescue scenes.
Throughout the entire training, the team always adhered to the principle of scientific group training, strictly organized and carried out training in accordance with the water rescue regulations, and made up for the training shortcomings.

Teamwork is the key to riding the wind and breaking the waves
Through this water rescue training, all personnel have fully exercised their comprehensive emergency response capabilities in the face of water disasters and accidents, laying a solid foundation for the detachment to launch water rescue teams and preparing for emergency situations during flood season and water disasters and accidents.
